The high-performance sedan can now match the GT S' sprint to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds.

Officially known as the “CC 63 S,” the Mercedes super sedan started off as a regular C63 S and then Carlsson worked its magic to give it what it calls a “motorsport flavour.” The first order of business was to fiddle with the biturbo 4.0-litre V8 and extract 115 horsepower and 92 pound-feet of torque to unlock a mighty 625 hp and 608 lb-ft.

With the power boost in place, the tuned C63 S is going to complete the 0-100 kilometre per hour sprint in just 3.8 seconds. Not only is it 0.2s quicker than the standard model, but it now matches the sprint performance of a much more hardcore car: the AMG GT S. Carlsson isn’t saying a word about top speed, but we remind you as standard the high-performance compact sedan is electronically capped at 249 km/h (155 mph) or at 290 km/h (180 mph) if you go for the optional AMG Driver’s Package.

But there’s more to the CC 63 S than just an upgraded V8, as Carlsson has also given it an exterior makeover with numerous carbon fibre bits part of an aerodynamic body kit. Starting at the front, there’s a custom lip spoiler attached onto the bumper, which as you can see now has canards and new air vent surrounds also dipped in carbon fiber.

Moving at the back, the modified C63 S has a new spoiler mounted on the trunk lid along with a different diffuser flanked by black chrome quad tips part of a new stainless steel exhaust system with manual valve control. Should you want even more carbon fibre, the German tuner has a bespoke set of side skirts with carbon flicks to complete the look.

As a final touch, Carlsson has replaced the standard wheels with its own 20-inch set shod in Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires measuring 245/30 ZR20 at the front axle and 265/30 ZR20 at the back.

If you would rather have a more hardcore C63 straight from Mercedes-AMG, a Black Series based on the coupe is still on the agenda and if it will be given the green light, it’s going to have over 600 hp along with numerous other upgrades.
