M3 and M4 each blessed by G-Power with 600 hp.

G-Power is living up to its name by infusing a lot more oomph in BMW’s M3 (F80) and M4 (F82) high-performance models which both share a biturbo 3.0-litre, straight-six engine. After the tuner works its magic, the output numbers will jump by 169 horsepower and 140 pound-feet of torque, to a grand total of 600 hp and 546 lb-ft.

It’s all possible thanks to the Bi-Tronik 2 V3 package (€3,250, approx. $4,690 CDN) corroborated with upgraded turbochargers (€3,650, approx. $5,260 CDN) and beefier exhaust downpipes (€1,780, approx. $2,570 CDN). Also part of the kit is a new lightweight titanium exhaust featuring carbon fibre tips to provide a meaner look for Bavaria’s M dynamic duo for those willing to pay the €7,647 (approx. $11,000 CDN) asking price.

With all the revisions implemented, the BMW M3 and M4 will run the sprint to 100 kilometres per hour (62 miles per hour) in only 3.7 seconds compared to the stock models which need 4.3 seconds to accomplish the same task. While the standard Ms come with an electronic top speed limiter programmed at 250 km/h (155 mph), G-Power will reconfigure the software in exchange for €668 (approx. $960 CDN) to allow both models hit around 320 km/h (199 mph).

There’s more to the tuning package than just a power bump and a less restrictive limiter, as the M3 Sedan and M4 Coupe also take advantage of a custom coilover suspension (€2,880, approx. $4,150 CDN), carbon fibre aerodynamic body kit, and new 21-inch wheels shod in high-performance tires priced from a hefty €7,647 (approx $11,000 CDN).
