It’s the more powerful Viper ACR nobody asked for (but we’re glad exists)

Logically speaking, the Dodge Viper ACR doesn’t need any more power. Its monumental 8.4-litre V10 puts out 645 horsepower and 600 pound-feet of torque as it is. But don’t tell that to the crew at GeigerCars in Germany - they just went ahead and tuned the Viper ACR to a slightly crazier figure.

With 765 horsepower, the company was able to extract an extra 111 horsepower from the already potent supercar the good old fashioned way - with simple tuning. The stock 8.4-litre V10 was given larger, 2.215-inch diameter intake valves, a high-lift camshaft, uprated hydraulic lifters, pushrods, and double valve springs.

Other upgrades include headers, catalytic converters, and a stainless steel exhaust system. A final remapping of the ECU, and all that new equipment is put to use. No turbo necessary.

To pair with all that extra power, GeigerCars included an "Extreme Aero Package" that tacks on to the already aggressive aero package the Viper ACR comes with stock. The upgrades range from a front splitter, to twin dive flaps on the front apron, to a new rear diffuser, all topped off with some lightweight forged alloy wheels.

The total price of the package comes to €40,775 (approx. $59,000 CAD), not including the price of the Viper ACR. Or you can just pick up a complete car for a cool €219,000 (approx. $319,000 CAD).
