Most of these don't fit our style, but SEMA is about showing what's possible, not necessarily what's most attractive.

Unlike Hyundai’s slow tease of its custom Santa Fe’s for the SEMA Show, Ford is revealing a quartet of modified F-150's all at once. They’re among the over 50 customized vehicles that the Blue Oval intends to bring to the aftermarket-oriented event.

Bojix Design turns the 2016 F-150 SuperCrew into a serious off-roader. The truck has a seven-inch (177.8-millimetre) lift and Fox Racing coilovers make sure this beast can eat up tough terrain. The 22-inch wheels with 37-inch off-road tires are a big help, too. Upgraded Borg Warner EFR turbos for the 3.5-litre biturbo EcoBoost V6 should make the truck plenty quick over the dunes, too. The combination of Nardo Gray and Bojix Orange accents also looks great. Inside, there’s a custom leather interior.

Rather than heading into the wilderness like the truck from Bojix Design, Ford has a 2016 F-150 4x4 Lariat SuperCrew that just needs to get far enough off-road for its occupants to enjoy their BMX bikes. A performance suspension with dirt logic helps get to the trail and a Whipple supercharger for the 5.0-litre V8 makes sure it’s a quick journey. There’s room for bikes and an array of safety gear.

Hulst Customs’ 2016 Ford F-150 SuperCrew, which it calls EraThr3 (featured image above), sacrifices off-road ability for huge performance. The 5.0-litre boasts a Whipple supercharger and performance exhaust that boosts output to 750 horsepower. An air suspension and custom four-link rear suspension keep the truck planted. The 26-inch wheels easily fill the fenders, too. A leather interior adds some luxury to the potent pickup.

Finally, A.R.E. Accessories has a 2016 F-150 4x4 XLT SuperCab that it calls the Gold Standard. It boasts a vibrant paint scheme, and the lift system for the cap reveals a TV, storage system, and charging station in the bed. This truck would be perfect for tailgating. A lifted suspension and 24-inch wheels make sure that people can’t miss this pickup at the crowded SEMA Show.
