More than 700 cars to choose from, including the new Porsche 911 GT2 RS.
Microsoft’s shiny new Xbox One X will be out later this year and one of the early titles will appropriately be an exclusive game: Forza Motorsport 7. The first trailer for the latest installment in the long-running racing franchise shows off in-game footage at a smooth 60 frames per second in glorious 4K resolution.
Players will be able to choose from more than 700 cars and race them on over 30 environments, which will include swanky dynamic weather. As a matter of fact, Xbox promises the race conditions are going to “change every time you race.”
Forza 7 will feature the biggest collection of Porsches, Ferraris, and Lamborghinis ever included in a video game. Speaking of Porsches, the 911 GT2 RS made a surprising world debut at E3 yesterday and will be featured on the game’s cover.
For the first time in a Forza Motorsport game, players will have the possibility to customize their appearance by choosing from a wide collection of race gear collection.
Forza Motorsport 7 will be launched on the Xbox One and PC platforms on October 3, with the Xbox One X version due on November 7 when the console itself will be released. Pre-orders are already being taken, including for the Deluxe and Ultimate Editions. The latter will allow buyers to enjoy the game from September 29, while the Car Pass will grant access to the forthcoming car packs extending the already immense virtual garage.
The $599.99 CAD Xbox One X is billed as Microsoft's smallest and yet most powerful ever made, with 40 percent more punch than any other console on sale today. It’s rocking an eight-core AMD processor clocked at 2.3 GHz and a whopping 12 GB of graphics memory teamed up with a 6 teraflop GPU allowing the Xbox One X to deliver those amazing graphics as demonstrated in the Forza 7’s trailer. Hopefully, the game itself will be just as nice.
If you're more of a Sony and PlayStation fan, Gran Turismo Sport is expected to land later this year as well.
