London-based supercar club Auto Vivendi has announced plans to organize “The Hypercar Holy Trinity 200 MPH (321 km/h) Challenge.”
This is a rare opportunity to drive the McLaren P1, Porsche 918 Spyder, and LaFerrari trio within a day if you can afford the £7,500 (an estimated $14,000 CAD) (VAT included) asking price. Auto Vivendi will also accept groups of up to 20 people and in this case the price jumps to £100,000 (est. $188,500 CAD). The event will be organized on April 20 and May 12 next year, but you’d better act fast as availability is very limited.
You’ll get more than just the chance to drive the “Holy Trinity” as the event will kick off with warm-up runs with a Ferrari 458 Italia, McLaren MP4-12C, and a Porsche 911 Turbo S (991). All participants are going to be accompanied during the entire event by a qualified race instructor and the cars will come with speed-recording equipment. Moreover, Auto Vivendi will provide the necessary safety gear and there’s also going to be a hospitality area with refreshments.
All the action will take place on a private 3.2 kilometre runway and the cars will feature cameras recording the speedometer, so the drivers will have video proof to show they managed to hit the claimed speed. As implied by the event’s title, the main idea behind the challenge is to hit 322 km/h (200 MPH) with all three hybrid supercars.
