Video shows Domi standing by his GMC Yukon XL Denali when fan comes up to him and challenges enforcer to fight in parking lot.
Tie Domi took on many of hockey's toughest players when he was the Toronto Maple Leafs enforcer in the late 90's and into the 2000's, yet it seems even in retirement, he's still being challenged to fights... in parking lots no less.
A recent YouTube video shows Domi standing by his parked GMC Yukon XL Denali when a young fan comes up to him and taps Domi on the shoulder. The ex-Leaf turns and takes his arm off the Yukon's door, and the kid - who is identified in the YouTube description as a Montreal Canadiens fan - drops the hockey gloves he's wearing and puts up his dukes.
After a quick chuckle, Domi puts the youngster in a playful headlock. He then presses the challenger up against the big Yukon SUV and begins jersey'ing him before finally easing up and letting him go, all to the enjoyment of the surrounding people both on- and off-camera.
We're not sure whether Domi was protecting his GMC SUV, his ego, or both, but regardless, we're glad he let the kid off easy and it didn't turn into a parking lot brawl.
