Most car commercials aren't like this.
There's a problem with the Honda Civic Type R. "That's impossible," you're probably thinking. "It's one of the greatest hot hatchbacks of all time - there can't possibly be anything wrong with it."
Well, here's the thing: the Civic Type R has 310 horsepower and a chassis that can lap the Nurburgring in 7 minutes, 50 seconds. It is quite incredibly fast. Perhaps even too fast for the real world. The real world of potholes, idiot drivers, and, in particular, police speed traps.
But there is a way of getting the police to let you off driving your Civic Type R like you're at the 'Ring, even being encouraged to do so, as this Israeli commercial shows. And that solution is taking along a female passenger wearing a fake pregnancy bump, who can scream about being in labour.
Clearly, the rules about what you can show in commercials in Israel are, err, different.
