From a BMW 3.0 CSL to a Lamborghini Miura, the tour had something for everyone

Yesterday’s Pebble Beach Tour d’Elegance was the prefect venue to check out a wide variety of classic and vintage cars strolling along the streets for everyone to see. Part of the Motor1 team was on location to photograph the beauties along their 37-mile (60-kilometre) drive through Pebble Beach.

If we would have to pick our favourite from the selection, it would definitely have to be the super-rare AMX/3 of which only six were ever made. For a car built in the early 1970s, it doesn't look dated at all and still has the "wow" factor after around 45 years. The ultra-low roofline gives it a dramatic profile, and the bulging rear fenders are simply phenomenal.

A few gorgeous Aston Martins and Ferraris also took part in this year’s tour, along with one of the most beautiful Lamborghinis ever made, the lovely Miura. In addition, a BMW 3.0 CSL in exceptional condition also graced the tour and was joined by the very appealing 2002. BMW is paying tribute to the latter at Pebble Beach with an updated version of the 2002 Hommage concept.

If none of the above tickle your fancy, surely there must be something in the photo gallery below that you will appreciate.
